Aidan White

**Aidan Peter White**, commonly known as **Aidy White**, is a retired English footballer who was born on 10th October 1991 in Otley, West Yorkshire, England. His illustrious career spanned multiple teams and different positions, with him being ingenious both as a Left-back and a Left-winger. White started his career at Leeds United in The Championship of the English Football League in 2008, securing a professional contract with them in December that year. After receiving recognition as one of the 20 future England stars, he faced an injury, causing a pause in his thriving career. He returned to training at the beginning of the 2009-10 season but again faced an injury during pre-season. Despite his injuries throughout his career, White won three promotions, the EFL Trophy and was voted as the Leeds United's Young Player of the Year in the fans' End of Season Awards. Over the course of his career, White played for multiple other teams including Oldham Athletic, Leeds United, Sheffield United, Rotherham United, Barnsley, Heart of Midlothian, and Rochdale. Notable moments of his career included his first goal in senior football during his loan at Oldham Athletic and his first goal for Leeds United during their League Cup victory against Everton. White played his last match for Rochdale before he retired on 13th November 2023. Besides his club career, White also represented England U19s and Republic of Ireland U21s at the international level. He made his England under-19 debut in March 2009 and went on to debut for Republic of Ireland U21s in August 2011, eventually being nominated for under-21 International player of the year at the FAI International Football Awards.
