Alessandro Liborio Madrigal, known as Al Madrigal, (born July 4, 1971) is an American comedian, writer, actor, and producer. He rose to fame on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as a regular correspondent for five seasons and co-founded the All Things Comedy podcast network alongside Bill Burr. Madrigal has also made significant contributions in film, co-starring in Night School and appearing in the Sony’s Spider-Man Universe film Morbius as Alberto 'Al' Rodriguez. In 2022, Madrigal ventured into the comic book industry, teaming up with AWA and former Marvel Editor in Chief Axel Alonso to release the comic book, Primos.

Born and raised in San Francisco's Inner Sunset District, Madrigal started his journey in the world of comedy in the city's comedy clubs. His comedy, largely centered on personal experiences, the family, and his multiethnic background, led to him gaining exposure in the SF Sketchfest and the 'New Faces' showcase of the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. After winning the best stand-up comedian award at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, he enjoyed the launch of his first one-hour special, 'Why Is The Rabbit Crying?,' on Comedy Central. In contrast, the Showtime aired his latest stand-up special Shrimpin' Ain't Easy. Madrigal has further expanded his reach with appearances on popular shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and Conan.
