Alex Jones

Alexander Emerick Jones, more commonly known as Alex Jones, was born on February 11, 1974 in Dallas, Texas. A controversial and multi-faceted American figure, Jones is known as a far-right radio show host and prominent conspiracy theorist. He is the face behind The Alex Jones Show, which broadcasts from Austin, Texas and stands as one of the longest-running online news and politics talk shows. He was previously syndicated by the Genesis Communications Network across the United States on both syndicated and internet radio. Jones also founded InfoWars and Banned.Video, websites infamous for promoting conspiracy theories and fake news. He is perhaps most notorious for his allegations that the U.S. government concealed information or outright falsified events such as the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the Oklahoma City bombing, the September 11 attacks, and the 1969 Moon landing. His allegations extend to large businesses and multiple governments, claiming that they have colluded to create a globalist 'New World Order'. He is also known for his public support of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential bid, despite his criticism of both Republican and Democratic foreign and security policies. Owing to his disinformation campaigns, Jones has faced numerous defamation lawsuits.
