Alexis Knapp

**Alexis Merizalde Knapp**, born on July 31, 1989, is a prominent American actress who is renowned for significant roles in both film and television series. She is known for portraying the character, Stacie Conrad, in the popular Pitch Perfect film series from 2012 to 2017. In the 2012 party film Project X, she played the character, Alexis, further solidifying her standing in the acting scene. Her acting versatility doesn't stop at film, as she has also had a stint on television, appearing on the first season of the TBS comedy Ground Floor. Born in Avonmore, Pennsylvania, Knapp later moved to North Carolina and eventually to Los Angeles at the age of 18 with ambitions of breaking into the acting industry. Before her acting career took off, she hosted a popular internet video series and engaged in modelling. Her initial roles were background ones, with appearances in movies such as Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Couples Retreat. Her breakthrough came in 2012 with leading roles in Project X and Pitch Perfect. Apart from acting, her personal life garnered media attention in 2010 when Knapp, post-breakup, discovered she was pregnant with actor Ryan Phillippe's child. She gave birth to their daughter in 2011.
