Allan Corduner, born on April 2, 1950, in Stockholm, has left his mark as a remarkable British actor. In his early years, he received great encouragement for arts and music and aspired to be an orchestra conductor or concert pianist. However, his passion drifted towards acting after earning a BA Hons in English and Drama at Bristol University and training at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Corduner made his impressive feature film debut in Yentl alongside Barbra Streisand and Mandy Patinkin. He has worked extensively in theater, TV, film in both the UK and the US, and his voice is renowned from many BBC radio plays and audiobooks.

Corduner relocated with his family to London when he was only one year old, and he developed into a skilled jazz and classical pianist. His acting career blossomed in theater, making his West End debut in Mary O'Malley's Once a Catholic and numerous appearances at the Royal Court Theatre. His fame extended to Broadway where he was celebrated for his role in the musical 'Titanic'. In cinema, his most popular role was as Sir Arthur Sullivan in Mike Leigh's Topsy-Turvy.
