Allen Covert

Allen Stephen Covert (born October 13, 1964) stands as an eminent personality in the American entertainment industry, known as a comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, and his journey into the spotlight took off when he began appearing in renowned films. He's most recognized for his outstanding performances in 'Grandma's Boy' (2006) and 'Strange Wilderness' (2008). Covert is also known for his frequent collaboration with actor and friend, Adam Sandler, taking pivotal roles in a string of their films such as 'Happy Gilmore' (1996), 'The Wedding Singer' (1998), 'Big Daddy' (1999), 'Little Nicky' (2000), 'Mr. Deeds' (2002), 'Anger Management' (2003), '50 First Dates' (2004), and 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' (2007).

Covert, a Jewish with a Southern Baptist mother, is more than an actor; he's also a noteworthy theater student from New York University. Covert's professional relationship with Sandler extended beyond acting - he served as a significant contributor to virtually every film and comedy album that Sandler released. Covert also took initiative to venture into business by co-founding Cherry Tree Books, a company dedicated to publishing eBooks for children. Although his on-screen presence has dwindled in recent years, he continues to play instrumental roles as an executive producer and co-writer in Sandler's movie production company, Happy Madison Productions.
