America Ferrera

**America Georgina Ferrera**, born April 18, 1984, is a multi-talented American actress, director, and television producer. She has achieved commendable critical acclaim and numerous recognitions for her outstanding performances, including a Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award, with a nomination for an Academy Award. Time magazine recognized her influential contribution to the entertainment industry by naming her one of the 100 most influential people globally in 2007 and 2024. She was also featured on BBC's 100 Women list in 2023. Ferrera developed a keen interest in acting at a young age, which eventually led to her feature film debut in comedy-drama 'Real Women Have Curves' in 2002. She achieved significant success early in her career with commendable roles in films and gained widespread recognition for her character, Betty Suarez, in ABC's comedy-drama series 'Ugly Betty', which fetched her a Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Primetime Emmy Award.
