Ana de la Reguera, whose birth name is Anabell Gardoqui de la Reguera, is a highly esteemed Mexican actress. Born on April 8, 1977, in Veracruz, Mexico, she commenced her acting career in 1996. She appeared in various telenovelas, films, and television series such as HBO's Eastbound & Down and Capadocia and Amazon's Goliath. Her first television role was in the telenovela 'Azul' (1996), which paved the way to a successful acting career including roles in Pueblo chico, infierno grande (1997) and Desencuentro. She went on to be featured in Argos Comunicación's production, Tentaciones (1998) and appeared in Todo por amor, earning her the Palmas de or award. She also featured in the Netflix crime drama Narcos and HBO series Capadocia. Other notable television roles include 'Eastbound & Down', 'Twin Peaks', 'Power', 'From Dusk Till Dawn' and 'The Blacklist'.

De la Reguera made her movie debut in 'Por la libre'. Among her notable film roles is the portrayal of Sister Encarnación in 'Nacho Libre' and Maria in 'Cowboys & Aliens'.
