Angela Kinsey

Angela Faye Kinsey, born June 25, 1971, is an American actress renowned for her role as Angela Martin in the sitcom The Office (2005–2013). She captured significant attention in other sitcoms such as Your Family or Mine (2015) and Haters Back Off (2016–2017). After gaining recognition through The Office, Kinsey has continued her acting career with appearances in Netflix's Tall Girl, Disney+'s Be Our Chef, and the comedy series A.P. Bio. She currently contributes to MTV's Deliciousness as a panelist and co-hosts the Office Ladies podcast.

Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, her family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia when she was two, where her father worked as a drilling engineer. They lived there for 13 years, and she attended the Jakarta Intercultural School. After returning to the United States, Kinsey studied English at Baylor University and interned at the NBC talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien. She would later move to Los Angeles to take improvisation classes, leading to her breaking into the acting industry. Notably, Kinsey was the new spokesperson for Clairol hair products in the summer of 2011. In a personal announcement in 2021, Kinsey revealed that she will release a book, 'Office BFFs: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends Who Were There', with Jenna Fischer in 2022.
