Anthony Welsh

Anthony Michael Welsh, known as Anthony Welsh, is a prominent English actor born on 5 July 1983. He is best known for his captivating acting performances both on the big screen and television. Welsh's acting career kicked off with his film debut in Red Tails, a well-received movie released in 2012. Since then, Welsh's acting portfolio greatly expanded and he became recognised for his role as Lucky Gordon in the television series 'The Trial of Christine Keeler' which aired from 2019 to 2020. Born in the Hammersmith area of West London at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, Welsh spent his childhood growing up in West Ealing. His love for acting was nurtured at a young age, around 20, when he began attending evening acting classes at the Richmond Drama School. This was followed by a foundation course. Welsh further developed his craft at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where he received his formal training. With his years of experience, Welsh continues to enchant audiences with his performances. His recent project includes the 2024 mini-series, Flatshare, where he plays the role of Leon, an assistant in a hospice.
