**Beck Bennett** (born October 1, 1984) is a prominent American actor and comedian. He was a vital part of the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live for eight seasons, joining the show in its 39th season in 2013, and bidding it farewell at the end of its 46th season in 2021. He had earlier gained fame from AT&T's 'It's Not Complicated' commercials and the sketch videos he produced with the comedy group Good Neighbor. Born in Wilmette, Illinois, Bennett made his early performances at the Children's Theatre of Winnetka. After High School, he attended the USC School of Dramatic Arts in the B.F.A. Acting program. In 2003, Bennett joined the improv/sketch group Commedus Interruptus with future SNL cast members, and later formed the sketch group Good Neighbor in 2007. His career came into the limelight when he created the satirical political talk show ‘Fresh Perspectives’ and Theater of Life on YouTube. Moreover, he appeared in the film ‘Kill Me Now’ and ‘Beside Still Waters’. In 2013, a big break in his career happened when he starred on Saturday Night Live, and he also worked on independent films like 'Balls Out'. Bennett also voiced Launchpad McQuack in the reboot of DuckTales which ran from 2017 to 2021. Notably, he will play Steve Lombard in the upcoming Superman film in 2025.
