Benjamin Biolay

Benjamin Biolay is a renowned French singer, musician, songwriter, record producer, and actor, born on 20th January 1973. His unique low-key vocal style is known to be somewhat similar to the famed French pop star Étienne Daho. He emerged in the music scene as a prolific songwriter, arranger and producer for an array of French musical icons like Juliette Gréco, Julien Clerc, Françoise Hardy, Vanessa Paradis, and Nolwenn Leroy. Biolay is also recognized for his notable collaborations with the singer Keren Ann, with whom he co-wrote and produced her first two albums. Additionally, they have jointly contributed several songs to 'Chambre avec Vue', the successful comeback album of singer Henri Salvador. Aside from his personal music career, Biolay has also garnered appreciation for his work in films. He has performed most of the songs on the 2004 soundtrack for 'Clara et Moi' by Arnaud Viard.
