Beulah Koale

Beulah Koale is a New Zealand actor notable for his role as Officer Junior Reigns in the CBS reboot series Hawaii Five-0. His journey began in the suburb of Ōtara, where he was born and brought up within a religious family. Acting for Koale started at a very young stage, participating frequently in church productions. His career escalated when he joined the theatre company, Massive Company. His incredible capabilities were showcased in acclaimed shows such as Havoc in the Garden in 2011, and The Brave in 2012. He tasted cinematic success in 2010, starring in an award-winning short film Manurewa, winner of the Crystal Bear for best short in the youth section at Berlin, and also screened at Melbourne film festivals. His valuable contributions to the theater and the film industry are highlighted by his performance in the sci-fi thriller Dual alongside the likes of Karen Gillan and Aaron Paul. The intriguing thriller is filmed entirely in Tampere, Finland.

On a personal note, Koale, the first of six siblings, has four younger brothers and a younger sister. Pleasure for him also comes from his personal life, being a proud father of twin sons with his girlfriend-turned-wife Georgia Otene. Their love story culminated in marriage in January 2019 in his hometown. One can also see his love for acting in his fondness for The Lion King, and continues to find inspiration from established actors like Cliff Curtis and Denzel Washington.
