Blythe Katherine Danner (born February 3, 1943) is an American actress who has had a successful acting career, prominent since 1965. Renowned for her roles as Izzy Huffstodt on Huff and Marilyn Truman on Will & Grace, Danner has received several accolades, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Tony Award. Danner has also been twice nominated for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie, and has also received a Golden Globe Award nomination.

Danner has had a robust filmography appearing in successful films like 'Meet the Parents' and its sequels 'Meet the Fockers' and 'Little Fockers'. She has also been in Woody Allen films and others like 1776 (1972), Hearts of the West (1975), The Great Santini (1979), and much more. Danner has been active in environmental issues for over 30 years, prominently recycling and conservation, and is active on the Board of Directors of the Environmental Media Association. She has also contributed significantly to health care activism, in particular to oral cancer awareness, following the death of her husband Bruce Paltrow.
