Brett Jordan Dier is a Canadian actor born on February 14, 1990. He is highly celebrated for his distinguished role as Michael Cordero Jr. on Jane the Virgin, along with his recurring roles on the popular Canadian TV shows Bomb Girls and The L.A. Complex. Brett Dier also garnered public attention with his lead role as 'C.B.' on the ABC sitcom Schooled. Dier had his humble acting beginnings with his debut role in the TV movie Family in Hiding as Matt Peterson in 2006. His list of accomplishments include roles in Seventeen and Missing, The Secrets of Comforting House, Every Second Counts and Smallville. He has also been featured in Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Made: The Movie, Meteor Storm, and had a recurring role in Mr. Young. In addition to acting, Dier is an accomplished martial artist with a black belt in Taekwondo. He’s musically talented as well, reaching the sixth grade of Conservatory Music in piano, and skillfully plays the guitar.
