Charlotte Gainsbourg

Charlotte Lucy Gainsbourg (born 21 July 1971) is an acclaimed British-French actress and singer. Known for her engaging performances and multilingual skills, Charlotte is the daughter of English actress and singer Jane Birkin and French singer Serge Gainsbourg. She initially entered the spotlight through the song 'Lemon Incest' with her father at the age of 12. This was followed by the release of an album at 15. Despite a lengthy hiatus spanning over two decades, Gainsbourg secured commercial and critical success with albums such as 5:55, IRM, Stage Whisper, and Rest.

Raised in Paris alongside her half-sister Kate Barry, she had great reverence for her father and preserved his home, eventually turning it into a museum.
