From 2016 to 2017, she hosted the talk show Chelsea on Netflix. In addition to hosting, Handler has also made numerous television appearances and has written six successful books. She has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the world on Time's 100 list. Handler has been active in political activism, speaking at universities and collaborating with organizations to support democratic candidates supporting abortion rights. She was also recognized with the Ally for Equality Award from the Human Rights Campaign for her commitment to improving the lives of the LGBT community.
