Conrad Ricamora

Conrad Wayne Ricamora-Jensen, born 17 February 1979, is an American actor known for his poignant roles in both television and theater. His portrayal of Oliver Hampton on the popular ABC series 'How to Get Away with Murder' (2014–20) garnered him significant attention. Prior to his screen success, Ricamora was already making a notable impact in musical theater, with roles in the Off-Broadway musicals 'Here Lies Love' and 'Soft Power', which premiered in 2013 and 2019, respectively. His first taste with Broadway came in 2015 when he debuted in the revival of 'The King and I'. Born in Santa Maria, California, Ricamora's upbringing held a richness in cultural diversity, with his father of Filipino descent and his mother of German and Irish heritage. An avid tennis player in his early life, Ricamora further pursued his passion for the sport through a tennis scholarship at Queens University of Charlotte, where he graduated with a degree in psychology in 2001. He later completed the MFA acting program at the University of Tennessee in 2012. Despite his notable screen and theatre performances, Ricamora's roles go beyond acting, as a prominent figure in promoting LGBTQ+ visibility, earning him the esteemed Human Rights Campaign's Visibility Award.
