Craig Ferguson, born on 17 May 1962, is a multi-talented Scottish-American personality known for his myriad contributions to the world of entertainment. He started his career in the UK, playing the role of Nigel Wick on the famed ABC sitcom, The Drew Carey Show. His endeavors span various forms as actor, comedian, writer, and television host, most notably hosting the CBS late-night talk show The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2005–2014). \n\nOn leaving The Late Late Show in 2014, Ferguson explored different project avenues such as hosting the syndicated game show Celebrity Name Game (2014–2017) and Join or Die with Craig Ferguson (2016) on History channel. He has won numerous awards, amongst which a Peabody Award for his insightful interview with South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu stands out. As a writer, he has penned three books, one of them being a memoir titled American on Purpose describing his journey of becoming an American citizen. In the world of film, his voices for characters in animated films namely How to Train Your Dragon series, Winnie the Pooh, and Brave have received acclaim.
