Damian Young

Damian Young (born October 27, 1961) is an American actor, highly recognized for his distinct roles in theatre, television, and film. He is best known for appearing in the Hal Hartley film called Amateur which was released in 1994, where his performance received great acclaim and acknowledgment. He was also featured in Hartley's earlier production, Simple Men, which was aired in 1992. He illustrated his versatility and indubitable talent once again when he impeccably portrayed the character of the bus driver Stu Benedict for three seasons in The Adventures of Pete & Pete during the years 1993-96. His characters Mark Berman in the HBO series The Comeback, Bill Lewis on Californication, Aidan Macallan on House of Cards, Gabriel in the movie Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) released in 2014, and Jim Rattelsdorf in the Netflix series Ozark, co-starring Jason Bateman and Laura Linney for four seasons further exhibit the skill and depth he brings to each role. Young has also performed in productions with Allison Janney at Kenyon College, showcasing his stage skills.
