**Danielle Deadwyler**, born on May 3, 1982, is an illustrious American actress, who began her artistic journey on the Atlanta stage, taking on roles, notably in the 2009 production of For Colored Girls. A step forward in her career was her screen debut in the 2012 drama film _A Cross to Bear_. Danielle shaped her craft further through significant roles in the soap opera _The Haves and the Have Nots_, the drama series _P-Valley_, the miniseries _Station Eleven_ and _From Scratch_. She received high praise for her stunning performances in the western film _The Harder They Fall_, the biopic _Till_, and the drama film _The Piano Lesson_. Her exceptional acting left a significant impact, notably her portrayal of Mamie Till in _Till_, which earned her nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Danielle, born in Atlanta, Georgia, grew up in Southwest Atlanta, having three siblings and a supportive family.
