Dee Wallace

**Deanna Wallace** (née Bowers), also known as **Dee Wallace Stone**, is a critically acclaimed American actress. Born on December 14, 1948, she is possibly most recognized for her role as Mary Taylor in the 1982 blockbuster science fiction film _E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial_. Her cinematic journey began with appearances in several notable television shows, including _The Streets of San Francisco_, _Starsky & Hutch_, and _Police Woman_. Later, she transitioned to the big screen, thrilling audiences in horror classics such as _The Hills Have Eyes_ (1977) and _The Howling_ (1981), in which she starred opposite her husband Christopher Stone. Additionally, she reprised her horrifying role in _Cujo_ (1983), which was based on a novel by Stephen King. In her expansive career, Wallace proved her versatile acting skills, scoring a Saturn Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her part in _E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial_. She then navigated towards comedy, starring in a series of laugh-inducing films including _10_ (1979), _Jimmy the Kid_ (1982), and _Secret Admirer_ (1985).
