E. Roger Mitchell (born February 18, 1971) is an acclaimed American actor, known for his dynamic roles in both film and television. His journey begins in Miami, Florida, where he was born and raised. After graduating in 1993 from Claflin University in South Carolina, where he earned his B.A.s in English and Drama, Mitchell furthered his passion for acting by studying at Alliance Theatre Professional Actor Internship and went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts from City University of New York's Brooklyn campus in 1999. He stepped into the world of acting in 1997, with his debut role in the film 'Raney'. In the same year, he showcased his talent in comedy, playing the character 'Joseph' in the film 'How I Spent My Summer Vacation'. Mitchell's role as 'Aaron' in the 2000's 'The Legend of Bagger Vance' offered him the opportunity to share the screen with Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Matt Damon. His stellar performance as 'Chaff' in the mega-blockbuster 'The Hunger Games: Catching Fire' in 2013 brought him under the spotlight. He further cemented his position in Hollywood by playing 'Agent Craig McCall' in the 2017 film 'American Made'. His versatility transcends from films to television series, with important roles in 'The Walking Dead', 'The Shield', 'One Tree Hill', and 'The Quad' to name a few.
