Eamon Farren

**Eamon Farren**, **born on 19 May 1985**, is a distinguished Australian actor who rose to fame after his remarkable roles in the films X: Night of Vengeance (2011) and Chained (2012). His portrayal of Richard Horne in the 2017 revival of Twin Peaks added to his popularity. His acting prowess in the television film Carlotta (2014) brought him the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) award for Best Guest Or Supporting Actor in a Television Drama in 2015. His recent notable roles include films like Winchester (2018) and series like The ABC Murders (2018) and The Witcher (2019–present). Born in Ingham, North Queensland, Farren was raised in the Gold Coast from the age of six. His acting journey began at school where he served as the captain and completed his education under a French Immersion Program. His talent was further shaped at National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), graduating in 2007. Farren's acting career started in 2001 with the Showtime television film The Outsider, followed by several roles with Australian theatre companies. He has also earned critical acclaim for his theatre roles in Switzerland and Girl Asleep. His exceptional performance as Kirill in Sydney Theatre Co's The Present gave him an opportunity to make his Broadway debut in 2017.
