Elizabeth Ann Reaser, born on July 2, 1975, is a widely recognized American film, television, and stage actress. Her magnificent contributions range across various films and series, including but not limited to, Stay, The Family Stone, Sweet Land, Against the Current, The Twilight Saga, Young Adult, and Ouija: Origin of Evil. Alongside her film career, Reaser has also demonstrated extraordinary talent in television series like Saved, Grey's Anatomy, The Ex-List, The Good Wife, True Detective, The Handmaid's Tale, and The Haunting of Hill House. \n\nBorn in the affluent Detroit suburb of Bloomfield Hills, Reaser is the middle child among three sisters. After graduating from Avondale High School in Auburn Hills in 1993, she attended Oakland University for one year. Later, she went to Juilliard School's Drama Division (1995–1999, Group 28) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1999. Her dedication to her roles became evident when she prepared for her role in 'Saved' by observing the medical staff's behavior in an emergency room. Reaser's performance in Sweet Land earned her a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for 'Best Female Lead' and the 'Jury Award' at the Newport Beach Film Festival. Reaser is most popularly known for her role as Esme Cullen in The Twilight saga.
