At just seven, back in 1997, she showed her talent by winning the Zecchino d'Argento prize for the best non-Italian song in the Italian song contest Zecchino d'Oro. Later, she earned much appreciation for her portrayal of Lori Madison, a sex worker and porn star in HBO's 'The Deuce'. Her performance was so commendable that the series creator, David Simon, described it as 'one of the best he ever got on a show'. Post-2017, as a result of the Weinstein scandal and the Me Too movement, she was one of the first female artists to advocate for having an intimacy coordinator on set to prevent any harassment or misconduct. Her demand led to significant changes in the industry, ensuring the safety and comfort of performers in intimate scenes.
