Fabrizio Ferracane (born 13 July 1975) is an accomplished Italian film, television, and stage actor. Hailing from Mazara del Vallo, Ferracane pursued his education at the Teatès Drama School in Palermo and successfully graduated in 1998. From a young age, he was primarily involved in stage productions and even assumed the role of a director. His first foray into the film industry was through a role in Giuseppe Tornatore's Malèna in 1999. Ferracane's career took a turn for the better in 2013, stepping into the limelight with his breakout role of Luciano in Francesco Munzi's Black Souls. This notable performance earned him nominations for 'Best Actor' from several esteemed bodies such as David di Donatello, Nastro d'Argento and Globo d'oro Awards. Fast forward to 2019, Ferracane won the Nastro d'Argento for 'best supporting actor' due to his convincing portrayal of Italian mobster Giuseppe 'Pippo' Calò in Marco Bellocchio's The Traitor. Some of his other noteworthy works include films like Reveries of a Solitary Walker (2014), After the War (2017), The Traitor (2019), The Inner Cage (2021), and Don't Kill Me (2021). Ferracane's unrivaled talent and diverse acting skillset hold significant promise for his future in the film industry.
