Joseph Antonio Cartagena, also known as Fat Joe, is a talented American rapper who started his music career as a member of the hip hop group, Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.), in 1992. Besides being a successful solo artist, he is known for forming the hip hop group Terror Squad and its namesake record label. Some notable artists he has signed include Big Pun, Remy Ma, Tony Sunshine, and Cuban Link. Joe's first solo album, 'Represent', was released in 1993, following which he released several successful albums such as 'Jealous One's Envy' (1995) and 'Don Cartagena' (1998). His biggest commercial hit came with the release of album 'Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.)' in 2001, which received platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In addition to his music career, Joe made appearances in several films, such as 'Scary Movie 3' and 'Happy Feet' and Spike Lee's Netflix series 'She's Gotta Have It.' He also hosted the Coca Vision podcast on Tidal where he engages with celebrity guests to discuss music, friendships, and pop culture.
