Franz Rogowski

**Franz Rogowski** is a distinguished German film and stage actor and dancer, famed for his performances in various critically acclaimed films directed by eminent directors like Michael Haneke, Christian Petzold, Andrea Arnold, and Terrence Malick. Born in Freiburg im Breisgau, West Germany in 1986, Rogowski worked as a bike courier and bookstore assistant before entering the artistically challenging world of acting. He even attended a Swiss clown school and received training in dance. He commenced his career in the independent theater scene in 2007, showcasing his talent as a dancer, choreographer, and actor on esteemed stages like the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Schauspielhaus Hannover, and the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz.
