Geneviève Bujold, a Canadian actress, has gained enormous acclaim throughout her illustrious career spanning over several decades from 1962 to the present. Born on July 1, 1942, in Montreal, Quebec, she kickstarted her career with a stage debut in Le Barbier de Séville in 1961, after being trained at the Montreal Conservatory of Dramatic Art. In 1969, for her portrayal of Anne Boleyn in the period drama film Anne of the Thousand Days, she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
