Hailee Steinfeld

American actress and singer **Hailee Steinfeld** had her breakthrough moment with the 2010 western film *True Grit*, which earned her several accolades including Academy Award and BAFTA Award nominations. Born on December 11, 1996, in Los Angeles, California, she gained wider recognition with roles in the *Pitch Perfect* film series and *The Edge of Seventeen* and has since portrayed Emily Dickinson in the Apple TV+ series *Dickinson* and also modeled Kate Bishop in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Steinfeld's equally successful music career saw her sign with Republic Records after performing in *Pitch Perfect 2*. Her debut single '*Love Myself*' was followed by a debut EP *Haiz*. She has had a string of successful singles such as '*Starving*', '*Most Girls*' and '*Let Me Go*', and released a second EP, *Half Written Story*, in 2020.
