Haley Lu Richardson

**Haley Lu Richardson** is an American actress who was born on March 7, 1995, in Phoenix, Arizona. She made her initial strides in the entertainment industry through early television roles on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up (2013) and the ABC Family supernatural drama Ravenswood (2013–2014). Richardson made her mark on the big screen in the coming-of-age film The Edge of Seventeen (2016) and the psychological horror film Split (2016). She garnered more attention for her role in the independent drama Columbus (2017), earning a Best Actress nomination at the Gotham Independent Film Awards. Richardson continued to contribute to critically acclaimed independent films such as Support the Girls (2018), Unpregnant (2020), and After Yang (2022). From her early life participation in dance competitions to her independent film roles, Richardson has displayed immense versatility in her career. She featured in the second season of the HBO dark comedy anthology series The White Lotus (2022) and in the romantic comedy Love at First Sight (2023). She was also cast opposite John Cho in the hit movie Columbus, which led to her nomination for Best Actress at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in 2017. Richardson also starred in the romantic drama Five Feet Apart (2019). Away from the screens, she has been crocheting since the age of eight and runs an Etsy shop selling her designs. Apart from her acting career, Richardson found love on the Ravenswood set, dating Brett Dier from 2012 to 2020.
