Hans Georg Conried Jr. was an American actor and comedian, known for his versatile voice which enabled him to grab prominent roles in numerous animation projects. He was particularly celebrated for providing the voices of George Darling and Captain Hook in Walt Disney's Peter Pan, Snidely Whiplash in Jay Ward's Dudley Do-Right cartoons, and Professor Waldo P. Wigglesworth in Ward's Hoppity Hooper. Moreover, *his role as host of Ward's live-action show, 'Fractured Flickers', and as Professor Kropotkin on the radio and film versions of My Friend Irma, often left audiences impressed and thrilled. He made regular appearances in prominent classic series such as Make Room for Daddy, I Love Lucy and many more. His careers spanned across radio, stage, television and film demonstrating his incredible flexibility and talent. He was also a dialect specialist, and during World War II, this secured him roles as enemy agents in several wartime films. Beyond his on-screen presence, Conried also had active theatre roles, proving his broad talent across different mediums of entertainment. Conried's first leading film role came about in 1953, in the comedy film The Twonky.
