What's After the Movie
**Henry Ewan Golding**, born on 5 February 1987, began his career as a television presenter and later transitioned to become a renowned actor. Golding initially presented weekly football shows for ESPN, along with The Travel Show for the BBC and Surviving Borneo for Discovery Channel Asia. His substantial career shift occurred in 2017 when, after a global casting call, he secured a lead role in the film Crazy Rich Asians alongside Constance Wu. His charm and charismatic personality quickly won him his first major acting role. The film was praised by critics and topped the box office charts on its opening weekend. Following this, Golding appeared in Paul Feig's thriller A Simple Favor co-starring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick. Golding's successful trajectory continued as he starred in various acclaimed films such as the romantic comedy Last Christmas and the action-comedy The Gentlemen. More recently, in 2021, he portrayed the title character in the action-adventure Snake Eyes. In personal life, Golding married Taiwanese television presenter and yoga instructor, Liv Lo, in August 2016. They have two daughters and they reside in Venice Beach, California. Intriguingly, prior to his marriage, Golding completed bejalai---the Iban rite of passage into manhood---filming over two months in the wilderness of Borneo for the documentary series Surviving Borneo on Discovery Channel Asia.
