Iwan Rheon

Iwan Rheon, born on 13th May 1985, is a renowned Welsh actor and musician. He is prominently recognised for his character portrayals as Simon Bellamy in the E4 series Misfits (2009–2011), Ramsay Bolton in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2013–2016), and Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars in the film The Dirt (2019). Alongside acting, Rheon has also fostered a successful music career, dabbling in genres such as indie folk and acoustic rock. Rheon's acting career began when he joined the Welsh language soap Pobol Y Cwm at 17 years old. He notably won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical at the 2010 Olivier Awards for his stellar performance in the rock musical Spring Awakening. He has also been part of series like Vicious, Riviera, Inhumans, and Those About to Die.

In his musical journey, Rheon started songwriting and singing from the age of 16, acting as the lead singer in The Convictions. He recorded his first solo work, Tongue Tied EP, in 2010. His first album, Dinard, released in April 2015, received praise from music critics. Apart from Welsh and English, Rheon is fluent in Welsh and English, with Welsh being his first language. Currently living in London, Rheon has a son with Zoë Grisedale, born in August 2018.
