Izuka Hoyle

**Chantelle Izuka Hoyle** (born 18 January 1996) is a talented Scottish actress who launched her illustrious career in the realm of theatre. She catapulted to fame after clinching a Scottish BAFTA for her astounding performance in the critically acclaimed film _Boiling Point_ (2021). Hoyle's work extends to television where she has etched her name in the CW series _The Outpost_ (2020–2021) and the Channel 4 sitcom _Big Boys_ (2022–). She was born in the beautiful city of Edinburgh and spent the early years of her inspiring journey in Dundee. In a family blessed with artistic flair, Hoyle's sister, Kimberly, also acts and sings, having attended The Urdang Academy for training. Hoyle commenced her academic journey by attending Cramond Primary School and then the Royal High School. At 16, she took bold strides to pursue her passion and left mainstream education to complete sixth form at the MGA Academy of Performing Arts. Her talent and dedication saw her move to London and earn a scholarship to train at ArtsEd, from where she successfully graduated in 2017. Hoyle's acting prowess was first exhibited in her portrayal of Catherine Parr in the 2017 off West End production of _Six: the Musical_. Following this, she made her transformative film debut as Mary Seton in the historical drama _Mary Queen of Scots_ and marked her television debut in the second series of Clique. Hoyle's acting versatility is evident in roles across stage, film, and television, leaving a significant impact on her audience. As 2022 unfolds, Hoyle stars as Corinne in the Channel 4 sitcom Big Boys, with a promising slate of upcoming roles in _Persuasion_ and _Beach Boys_.
