Jack Alexander Huston, born on 7 December 1982, is a renowned British actor known for his diverse roles across different genres. His fame skyrocketed with the portrayal of Richard Harrow in HBO's drama series Boardwalk Empire. His acting credits include a supporting role in the 2013 film American Hustle, the eponymous Ben-Hur in the 2016 historical drama, and one of the main characters in the fourth season of the FX anthology series Fargo (2020). In 2023, he starred in the supernatural television series Mayfair Witches.
Huston was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk to Lady Margot Lavinia (née Cholmondeley) and actor Tony Huston. Claiming a passion for acting since the age of 6, Jack is part of an illustrious lineage that includes actress Anjelica Huston and actor Danny Huston. He is also the great-grandson of Canadian actor Walter Huston. His career began with a small screen adaptation of Spartacus and gradually escalated to starring roles in Factory Girl, Two Jacks, and Night Train to Lisbon among others. He played a noteworthy role in The Irishman in 2019, and made his directorial debut with Day of the Fight, starring Michael Pitt, in 2023.
