**James Badge Dale** (born **James Badgett Dale**; May 1, 1978) is a reputable American actor known for his vivid portrayals in various roles across film and television. Born and raised in New York City, Dale is the only child of actress and singer Anita Morris and actor and dancer Grover Dale. His acting journey began at a tender age of 10 when he auditioned for the role of Simon in the 1990 film Lord of the Flies. Dale's remarkable work includes roles as Chase Edmunds in '24', Robert Leckie in 'The Pacific', Trooper Barrigan in 'The Departed', and Eric Savin in 'Iron Man 3'.
