Jessica Randolph Harper, born on October 3, 1949, is a renowned American actress and singer. She rose to fame with a leading role in Brian De Palma's 'Phantom of the Paradise' (1974), earning a pivotal place in the entertainment industry. Her performances were recognized in classics such as 'Love and Death' (1975), 'Inserts' (1975), 'My Favorite Year' (1982), and most notably in 'Suspiria' (1977) by Dario Argento, in which she played the leading character, Suzy Bannion. In 2018, she reappeared in Luca Guadagnino's remake of 'Suspiria' in a supporting role.

Not only limited to acting, Harper successfully explored other creative realms, securing her spot as an award-winning author of children's music and books.
