Jim Meskimen

**James Ross Meskimen**, known as **Jim Meskimen**, is an American actor, comedian, and impressionist, born on September 10, 1959, in Santa Monica, California. He has won acclaim for his work under eminent directors such as Ron Howard, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Garry Marshall. His education includes attending Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA and the University of California at Santa Cruz. He also received training in animation at Hanna-Barbera studios in Hollywood, where he worked on shows like Jonny Quest and Jana of the Jungle. After university, he worked extensively in the arts, which led him to a role creating characters for Rankin/Bass's original series Thundercats and other assorted radio and television work. Fast forward to his on-screen roles, Meskimen made a mark in various shows like Friends, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and others. His voice work can also be heard on varied video games and animated shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Big Bang Theory and two reboots of Thundercats. His popular voiceovers gained him a place in America's Got Talent in 2013, where he won a standing ovation. He continues to act in numerous roles on television, the latest being in Apple TV+'s 'The Big Door Prize'. Outside his professional career, he resides in Los Angeles with his wife Tamra, who is a co-founder of The Acting Center, and their daughter, Taylor Meskimen.
