Joaquín Furriel

Joaquín Alejandro Furriel, born on August 26, 1974, is a noteworthy Argentine actor. He was born in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires Province, and was brought up in Adrogué, Gran Buenos Aires. Furriel developed an early interest in theatre. At the young age of thirteen, he began participating in an acting workshop at his school and from then onwards, was drawn to the world of acting, eventually getting associated with the renowned Comedia de Almirante Brown. As his passion for acting grew, he went on to study at the Conservatorio de Arte Dramático. This further enriched his skills and paved the way for him to participate in international festivals. He has an impressive body of work in the world of telenovelas and particularly noteworthy is his performance in 'Entre caníbales'. Furriel's portrayal in the movie 'Lighthouse of the Orcas (El Faro de Las Orcas)' also garnered him significant praise. In 2005, Furriel married actress Paola Krum, and they have a daughter together named Eloísa Furriel Krum. They divorced in 2011. From 2016 to 2018, he was also in a short-lived relationship with actress Eva De Dominici.
