John Patrick Vivian Flynn, better known as Johnny Flynn, is a renowned British actor and musician, famed for his rich contributions to the world of film, television, theatre and music. Born on March 14, 1983 in South Africa, Flynn's artistic talents were nurtured from the get-go, given his familial lineage associated with performing arts. His father was British actor and singer Eric Flynn and his younger sister, Lillie Flynn, sings with the Sussex Wit. He relocated to the UK at a tender age of two and later pursued acting at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.

Flynn initiated his professional journey in 2005 with roles in popular television series like Murder in Suburbia, Holby City and Kingdom. He found stardom with his breakthrough role in film Crusade in Jeans (2006).
