Joseph Hill 'Joss' Whedon is an American director, screenwriter, producer, and composer, celebrated for his lauded television series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spinoff Angel, as well as the cult-favorite space western Firefly, Dollhouse and Marvel Cinematic Universe entries such as The Avengers.
