Jérémie Renier is a Belgian actor, born on 6 January 1981 in Brussels, Belgium. He kickstarted his acting career in 1992, with his film debut in a small Belgian film entitled Les sept péchés capitaux (The Seven Deadly Sins) when he was just 11 years old. His talent quickly caught the eye of audiences and he rapidly rose to prominence in the world of cinema. He became better known to worldwide audiences with his remarkable performances in the films Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) and L'Enfant (2005). Particularly, his collaboration with highly acclaimed Dardenne brothers for the film L'Enfant is worth mentioning.

In 2012, Renier manifested his acting prowess by portraying French singer Claude François in the film My Way. His exceptional performance in My Way earned him a César Award nomination for Best Actor. Yet another masterstroke from Renier was his depiction of Yves Saint Laurent co-founder Pierre Bergé in the 2014 biopic Saint Laurent, where he yet again earned a César Award nomination, this time for Best Supporting Actor. Despite being highly talented and acclaimed, this Belgian actor remains largely humble. His body of work is proof of his immense talent and dedication towards his craft.
