Kathleen Wilhoite, born on June 29, 1964, is an American actress and musician. She made her feature film debut in Private School (1983) before moving on to a leading role in Murphy's Law (1986). She had notable roles in several successful movies, including Witchboard (1986), Crossing Delancey (1988), Road House (1989), and Lorenzo's Oil (1992). Her talent also made its way to television, where she starred in shows like Twin Peaks (1990) and ER (1994). Wilhoite had a diverse career, starring in the science fiction thriller Fire in the Sky (1993), and the survival film The Edge (1997). From 2003, she acted as Liz Danes in Gilmore Girls and had guest roles in popular shows like Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, and Jane the Virgin. Animation also had a spot in her career as she gave a voice to the titular character in the ABC animated series Pepper Ann. From 1983 to the present, she has been continually active in her career, showcasing her talents in various roles and genres. Apart from acting, she is a musician and has released two albums Pitch Like a Girl (1997) and Shiva (2000). Songs from these albums found their spots in movies and TV series. She is married to musician David Harte and together they have three children.
