Kelendria Trene Rowland, known as Kelly Rowland, is a renowned American singer, actress, and television personality who came to fame in the late 1990s as a member of Destiny's Child, one of the world's best-selling girl groups. During the group's three-year hiatus, Rowland kick-started her solo career with her debut studio album, Simply Deep (2002), which topped charts, selling over 3 million copies worldwide. Her acting career also took off with roles in popular movies like Freddy vs. Jason (2003) and The Seat Filler (2005). After Destiny’s Child disbanded in 2006, Rowland released her second studio album, Ms. Kelly (2007), which featured international hits "Like This" and "Work". In addition to her music career, Rowland has enjoyed a successful television career, serving as a judge on popular singing competitions like The X Factor UK and The Voice Australia.
