Erika S.L. 'Kika' Markham, born in 1940, is an accomplished English actress. Born as a daughter of actor David Markham and writer Olive Dehn, she comes from a prominent family with three sisters: Petra, Sonia, and Jehane Markham. Her prolific career spans the spheres of cinema, television, and theatre. She has been a part of several notable television series including Edward & Mrs. Simpson, The Life and Times of David Lloyd George, A Very British Coup, Van der Valk, The Line of Beauty, Minder, Cracker, Agatha Christie's Poirot (The Double Clue), Sherlock Holmes' Wisteria Lodge and Mr Selfridge. Her film portfolio is equally impressive, boasting roles in Bunny Lake Is Missing (1965), François Truffaut's Two English Girls (1971), High Tide (1980) and Franklyn (2008), among others. Kika Markham's life is not only filled with professional achievements but also rich personal experiences. She married actor Corin Redgrave in 1985. They had two sons together and also appeared together on screen and stage numerous times. Kika has also proven herself as an author, publishing a memoir titled 'Our Time of Day: My Life with Corin Redgrave' in 2014. The memoir serves as a chronicle of her life with husband Corin Redgrave.
