Kit Connor

Kit Sebastian Connor, born March 8th, 2004 in Croydon, London, England, gained recognition for his outstanding acting abilities early in his career. He stepped into the limelight with his charismatic role as secondary school student Nick Nelson in the popular Netflix series Heartstopper. For his compelling performance in Heartstopper, Connor is distinguished as the inaugural winner of the Children's and Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Performance. In addition to his Netflix success, Connor has demonstrated his versatility and talent in numerous films such as Get Santa (2014), Rocketman (2019), and Little Joe (2019). His engaging work includes a noteworthy recurring role in the CBBC series Rocket’s Island(2014-2015), along with distinct voice parts in the series His Dark Materials (2019-2022) and the film The Wild Robot (2024).

On top of his successful film and television career, in 2024 Connor showcased his theatrical talent by starring in a Broadway musical adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. Connor, who began his acting journey at the tender age of 8, has a wealth of experience across different genres and mediums, from soap operas like Casualty to the musical film Rocketman, where he masterfully portrayed a young Elton John. Alongside his remarkable acting career, Connor is renowned for his commitment to authenticity both on and off screen. In 2022 he bravely came out as bisexual on Twitter, candidly addressing both his fans and the media.
