Born into a family of three boys, Mooney enjoyed the spotlight from a young age, having been chosen by his middle school class as the most likely to become a television star. He extended his comedic pursuits in 2007, when he formed the sketch comedy group 'Good Neighbor', which explored the scope of YouTube as a platform for their comedic content. His astounding work led him to audition for 'Saturday Night Live'. Though first rejected in 2012, Kyle Mooney finally made it to the cast in 2013, gradually introducing YouTube characters he had created such as Chris Fitzpatrick, the 4/20 Weed-Smoking Guy, and Bruce Chandling. His most recent work includes an adult cartoon comedy 'Saturday Morning All-Star Hits!' and a disaster comedy 'Y2K'. Off-stage, Mooney is an avid collector, most notably of VHS tapes.
