Léa Seydoux

Léa Seydoux, born as Léa Hélène Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne on 1st July 1985, is a French actress who has made a significant impact on both French cinema and Hollywood. She is a recipient of five César Award nominations, two Lumières Awards, a Palme d'Or, a BAFTA Award nomination and the Trophée Chopard Award. Seydoux’s acting career started with her debut film 'Girlfriends' in 2006 and soon gained recognition for her roles in 'The Beautiful Person' (2008), 'Belle Épine' (2010), and 'Farewell, My Queen' (2012). Her career took a global turn as she appeared in supporting roles in Hollywood blockbusters such as Quentin Tarantino's 'Inglourious Basterds' (2009), Ridley Scott's 'Robin Hood' (2010), Woody Allen's 'Midnight in Paris' (2011) and 'Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol' (2011). She garnered widespread acclaim with the controversial film 'Blue Is the Warmest Colour' (2013), which won her the Lumières Award for Best Actress and a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Her performance in the Bond movies 'Spectre' (2015), and 'No Time to Die' (2021) solidified her international profile. Since 2016, she has been a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton. Despite her notable lineage, she has remarked that she was not close with her influential film industry-oriented grandfather and he did not aid her in her career.
